Angela Knight’s book and short stories about the Warlords and the Fems are now collected in one volume together…. WARLORD opens with Jane’s Warlord. Reporter Jane Colby is following up on a story involving a brutal slaying when she finds a strange man with an even stranger tale in her home. Baran Arvid claims to be from the future and that he is there to protect her from a time traveling killer. Jane’s heart and life are on the line in Jane’s Warlord. Jane’s Warlord was previously published as a stand alone novel. Even upon a second reading, the story still captivated me as Angela Knight made me a believer in time travel. Baran is a true Alpha Male but Jane is feisty enough to take on the challenge of soothing this savage male. The inclusion of Baran’s sidekick, Freika, is a stroke of genius as he adds a touch of wry humor to the tale. Jane’s Warlord is a superb science fiction romance that showcases the phenomenal talent of Angela Knight. Warfem shows a clash between old lovers as Warfem Alina and WARLORD Baird will come face to face after a twenty year separation. Alina has been forced to remain subject to the whims of Rajin Kasi, even forced to end her relationship with Baird. What hold does Rajin Kasi have over her? And why is Baird back in her life after all these years? Secrets abound in Warfem as both Alina and Baird are hiding things from one another. Twenty years is a long time, but it hasn’t cooled that sizzling hot attraction they have one another. And no one writes better erotica than Angela Knight! The sex scenes are so hot they are guaranteed to melt steel. Fans of Angela Knight will note that Warfem was previously published in the anthology entitled KICK @SS. The Warlord and the Fem shows the courting between a WARLORD and a Warfem. Baird woos Kyna in the way only a WARLORD can…. The Warlord and the Fem is the first of two new-in-print stories featured in WARLORD. Both this story and the following one were previously available only to members of Angela Knight’s Yahoo Group. Ms. Knight shows a spicier side of her writing in The Warlord and the Fem as the sex scenes steam up the pages! The hero is named the same in this story as in Warfem but Angela Knight thoughtfully provides a note that lets readers know they are not the same character and gives a brief history as to how all of these stories evolved. WARLORD concludes with Baby, You’ve Changed. Warfem Tamir is shocked to see a lover from her past, Captain Gage Deauxville. Even worse, his crew has just captured her ship. Gage isn’t the puny human Tamir remembers, however. He’s now a vampire and he has Tamir in his sites. Baby, You’ve Changed offers the most hardcover erotica of the book. The sex borders on the violent side, as the world of the Warfems isn’t an easy or pretty one at times. Fans of Angela Knight’s Mageverse series may find this one a bit too much for their tastes but those who’ve followed Angela Knight will recognize the story as being Angela Knight at her kinkiest best. WARLORD is another fascinating and sexy offering from the talented Angela Knight. If you haven’t previously sampled the world of the Warfems and Warlords, then WARLORD is easily worth the money!
