Darius Stewart is a werewolf, not willing to submit to another Alpha from his home pack he was banished to live in Alabama and head up his own pack, attaining dominance within a year, or risk being driven off by a stronger Alpha.  With friends Eric as his Beta, and Trey as his Enforcer they were adjusting to their new life when Darius felt the need for a mate.

Darius needed a mate and he’d found her in the form of Meg O’Reilly owner of  O’Reilly’s Bar and Grill.  He wasn’t aware that she was a witch, but it wouldn’t make any difference for when a were found his mate it was usually a mutual attraction. Meg, though she felt the attraction, was an independent, confident and very sexy woman who was about to give one very bossy, arrogant, and sexy wolf a run for his money! But first he had to chase off the rogue wolf who was stalking her.

***  I loved this story especially when I can get a double dose of a dynamic lead couple. Meg is what I love most in a lead female role being an independent, self assured woman who relies on no one but herself, plus she’s a witch! She was no pushover in spite of the fact that she sensed immediately that Darius was a force to be reckoned with.   What can I say about Darius other than he was not only an Alpha werewolf but an Alpha male in every sense of the word.  Natural born leader, arrogant, sexy with a take-charge attitude who would make anyone feel safe, secure and ecstatically cherished!  Oh heart be still!

Trey and Eric as Darius’ friends brought another dimension to the story and I can hardly wait to see this series evolve and sincerely look forward to Trey finding his mate.  Beautiful clean writing with humor, steamy wild sensuality, and a brisk pace, this is definitely my choice of a wonderful bedtime story!
