Janet takes her side job very seriously.  After all, testing sex toys is not for the light-hearted.  So when she gets a new batch of toys to test, she turns off her phone, tells her friends she’s going out of town and gets down to it.  That is until someone knocks on her door.

Damien Richards is determined not to lose his best tester and he fears that may happen after reading her letter to his company.  What better way to convince Miss O’Neal to remain as a sex tester than to personally deliver a box of toys with him as a partner for the weekend.

Although she has some concerns, Janet agrees to test a second box of toys but with some rules.  Damien quickly agrees and the sexual odyssey begins.

Testing Passion by Marty Rayne is a fun and erotic read.  The basis of the story is what had me reading it, but the story itself was even better.  The characterizations were well flushed out given the limited pages.  And the romance between Janet and Damien was well executed.

As stated in the warnings, this book does contain some light BDSM, but nothing overly violent or harsh.  And while it is explicit, the lasting impression was that of the trust and acceptance it takes to allow another person to use a whip.

My only complaint is that while Marty Rayne explored the feelings and emotions well, she was too limiting on the actual erotica portion.  And given the premise, sex toy tester, the storyline did not quite live up to my expectations.  To counter this I will say the sexual scenes were very well written, explicit and hot!

Overall, I’d still have to give Testing Passion by Marty Rayne 4.0 klovers.  I enjoyed the story, especially the romantic aspects, and even with less sex scenes was very satisfied.
