Anna Fallon gets this anthology off to a wonderful start with A Fairy Merry Christmas. Australian Scott Robson is in for the shock of his life when a letter tells him of his inheritance of the Boo Bar in Spellfire, Texas. Accompanied by his best friend, Barry Barnes, Scott travels to Spellfire where he meets the sexy Topaz Sinclair. Will this Alpha male be able to accept his Faery heritage?

What a great story! Anna Fallon has crafted a fantastic story that immediately sucks the reader in. The romance develops beautifully between Scott and Topaz with a nice little twist thrown in to make things interesting. Anna Fallon demonstrates she has a superb sense of humor. I just loved the whole concept of the support group and would love to see the stories of some of the characters mentioned there!  And who couldn’t love a certain cleverly named skeleton? A Fairy Merry Christmas is a true delight for any time of year.

Right Man, Wrong Time by Jane Carver transports the reader back in time after a bizarre accident knocks Sunny Cassidy unconscious. She awakens to find she has left the year 2005 and arrived back in 1880 in the town of Spellfire. Sunny has some dubious encounters with the Branson family before meeting with Doctor Thomas Blake after yet another accident befalls her. Will Sunny find love when she encounters the Right Man, Wrong Time?

Jane Carver’s time travel is an interesting tale in which the Branson family gets their comeuppance, albeit inadvertently. The humor is more sexually explicit than the first tale but will definitely garner some fans. The romance between Sunny and Thomas seemed a bit rushed but I liked the way Jane Carver tied everything neatly together. The ending was perfect. Right Man, Wrong Time provides a historical viewpoint of the always entertaining town of Spellfire.

Night Magic by Jamie Hill is an entertaining tale about a witch with some very good morals about love! Calista Canyon is hot for her neighbor, Ryan Lenhart, but he doesn’t seem to notice she even exists. As a witch, she could cast a spell on him for true love but she has other ideas in mind….

Whew, Night Magic is one hot little story guaranteed to get your temperature up! Calista’s determination to seduce Ryan is nothing short of scorching hot. I liked the morality issue about the use of witchcraft as it really humanized Calista. Calista knows just what the consequences of a true love spell can be and it was admirable to see her restraint, particularly in light of how difficult it was for her to attract Ryan’s attention.  My fingers are still sizzling from turning the pages of this steamy tale!

Ravyn Reccio takes readers to the world of mermaids with Deseos Navideno, Christmas Desires. Raquel Castillo has yearned for the kind of love she shared with her mortal husband, Carlos, since his tragic death from cancer.  Will love find her once again?

Deseos Navideno, Christmas Desires is a hauntingly beautiful tale. Ravyn Reccio does a magnificent job at making the reader feel the overpowering depth of love between Carlos and Raquel. In fact, she may sell their eternal love affair a bit too much as it was hard to imagine Raquel moving on. However, the imagery of Deseos Navideno, Christmas Desires is stunning as Ravyn Reccio brings the magic of Christmas to life in this compelling tale.

Heart of a Ranger by Bridghid Parkinson hearkens back to the old west as Texas Ranger James Dallingham is about to find love in modern day Spellfire. Sarah Collins is determined to catch the attention of the ghostly yet delectable Texas Ranger. Will these two throwbacks find love in the magical town of Spellfire?

Bridghid Parkinson really does a fantastic job at capturing the flavor of the old west. At times, I was so immersed in the storyline and the atmosphere that I forgot the story was actually set in modern times! The love story between Sarah and James is sweetly sensual and the holiday spirit was definitely apparent in this extraordinary tale.

The anthology concludes with Alex’s Gift by Mae Powers. Alex and Electra have been married almost a year now and each wants to find the other one the perfect Christmas gift. What more can anyone offer than love?

Mae Powers finishes this anthology with a sweet and loving tale of two newlyweds approaching their one year anniversary. Alex and Electra search for the ultimate gift for one another in this short but poignant tale. Alex’s Gift is the perfect ending to a magical anthology.

SPELLFIRE SEASONS 2 is yet another wonderful adventure with the residents of Spellfire, Texas. Magic is always in the air in Spellfire so you know that Christmas is going to be special in this charming little town. Anna Fallon, Jane Carver, Jamie Hill, Ravyn Reccio, Bridghid Parkinson, and Mae Powers put their own unique touches in this enjoyable and entertaining anthology.
