Juniper Montgomery didn’t expect the summoning from The Still Sexy Ladies Guide to Dating Immortal to actually work.  On a whim, she asked for an elf… and got sexy elf Costac Pleasaunt.  However, a strange twist of fate also brought half-elf Teekae, dragon Welsom, and elf Amaryllis along for the ride.  The magick of elves is finicky, however, and soon Juniper will have to make some decisions.  Will Costac turn out to be MORE THAN SHE WISHED FOR?

Betty Hanawa puts a different spin to The Still Sexy Ladies Guide to Dating Immortals with her sexy but fickle elves.  Her world crafting is simply phenomenal, as one easily becomes lost in a reality in which dragons, House Brownies, elves, and magick are real.  Welsom is without a shadow of a doubt this reviewer’s favorite character and his chosen guise for the human world is hilarious!

MORE THAN SHE WISHED FOR has a plethora of characters.  Perhaps the most difficult part of reading this particular story is that it is not solely Juniper and Costac’s story, but it is also the story of Amaryllis and Paxton Drake.  While the stories are intertwined, it was almost a shame not to have two separate stories for each couple so that their romances could be more fully developed.  

MORE THAN SHE WISHED FOR is a superb blend of magick and romance.  The antics of Teekae, Welsom, and Kenj add a needed touch of humor that keeps the story grounded.  Betty Hanawa clearly has a deep love for elves and she conveys this well to her readers.
