Abby Baker is not used to be the center of attention. Unfortunately, a decision to help out on a story left her caught up in the middle of a riot between humans and the Others (all those supernatural creatures previously thought to be imaginary). Now, Abby finds herself possessed by a fiend and wanted by everyone... and not necessarily in a good way! Rule is a demon and has been hunting this fiend. He certainly doesn't expect an attraction to a human! Can love exist between a human and a demon in the midst of such chaos?

Christine Warren takes everything you thought you knew about the supernatural and spins it on its head! Rule was first introduced in the previous book, SHE'S NO FAERIE PRINCESS, but his character really takes off in this one. The distinction between fiends and demons is made clear to anyone new to the series, along with the enough background to make THE DEMON YOU KNOW stand alone easily.

Abby seems initially a very quiet, unassuming sort of character so it was nice to see her blossom as her personality begins to emerge. Rule is an excellent hero for a paranormal romance and his character adds an interesting touch to the whole series, particularly with the mission he is on currently. I have to admit that I found Abby's brother, Noah, to be the most fascinating character, however, and look forward to his story especially.

THE DEMON YOU KNOW is yet another fascinating foray into the world of the Others. Each book adds a new element to the overall storyline as this is one series that continues to have creative plots. Easily recommended!
