Missing! Mona Lisa has been taken against her will by a dark light from the moon only to find herself in NetherHell. What horrors await her in this realm of the damned? Mona Lisa is about to find herself in for the fight of her life, as Mona Louisa’s essence is much stronger in NetherHell and there appears to be no way back home…. MONA LISA DARKENING is without a shadow of a doubt the best book yet in the Monére series! Sunny expertly combines a phenomenal tale together with Mona Lisa’s alluring charm to create a gem of a story. MONA LISA DARKENING can be read as a stand alone as the past history is briefly summarized. However, Mona Lisa’s relationships are complex and the nuances might be missed by jumping right into this series with MONA LISA DARKENING without the prior history. The force of Mona Lisa’s personality is what has made this series so successful. MONA LISA DARKENING finds Mona Lisa alone in NetherHell without all of her assorted men. Her strength and endurance, coupled with her deep compassion in such an uncaring world like NetherHell, only serve to make her character stronger. Sunny does a beautiful job at continuing to develop Mona Lisa’s personality rather than allowing her to stagnate. MONA LISA DARKENING is superb. Sunny shows that her characters and stories have the sort of depth needed to make the Monére series a lasting one. The world building of NetherHell is extraordinarily well done and serves as the ideal backdrop for a story such as this one. MONA LISA DARKENING is diabolically clever and sure to be an instant hit!
