Whatever possessed Morgan Cutter to offer Allison Moore a ride home? Just because he’d changed his mind about his brother’s fiancé, Paige Cavanaugh, doesn’t mean her best friend isn’t like his ex-wife! Morgan has never gotten over the nasty split with Amber and sees all women from the city in the same light as Amber. Will he give Allison a chance? And how will Morgan handle it when his past and present collide?

Judith Rochelle does a beautiful job at making Morgan seem heroic, even as he fumbles his way through the relationship with Allison. This sexy Chief of Police for the small town of White Tail, Texas, is both grumpy and lovable. In fact, the conversation fumbles between Allison and Morgan only make the story more endearing as these two seemingly opposite personalities show that love can conquer anything if the heart is open.

Morgan Cutter is a cowboy through and through, despite his own aversion to the moniker. Amber may have ruined his view on women, but there’s just something about Allison that grabs his attention! The sparks fly instantly between them but there are so many obstacles standing in their way to happiness. I like the fact that Judith Rochelle didn’t make their path easy and yet she made it realistic. One can easily believe the happily ever after for Allison and Morgan is a true one.

Judith Rochelle transports the reader into another world with her stories featuring the town of White Tail, Texas. One can’t help but feel welcomed in by all the friendly faces of the town and the lush, vivid descriptions of the land. CUTTER’S LAW is yet another winner from Judith Rochelle!
