Madison Lee’s life is a mess! As one of the darling debutantes of the small Louisiana community, Madison has an image to uphold- and turning into a furry werewolf just isn’t part of that image! Worse yet, the man responsible, Nicholi Grant, is back in her life and wants to merge her daddy’s business and her inheritance with his own holdings. What will happen when the Satin Rose Cotillion is threatened by the Hunters of Algernon who will do anything to kill a werewolf?

I have decided it is physically impossible to read a book by J. Morgan and not laugh out loud! His snarky brand of humor hits just the right notes as WERE LOVE BLOOMS is nothing short of hysterical. Pop culture references are a trademark of any J. Morgan story, but in WERE LOVE BLOOMS he also tackles Southern culture, specifically that of the debutante. The results are priceless!

Madison is the perfect heroine for a story about Southern Debs. Her dedication to style even in the midst of danger could have made her appear vapid, but J. Morgan quickly squashes that stereotype as Madison is definitely her own woman. She’s smart, quirky, and loves her town, flaws and all. The run-ins with Deputy Bobby Ray add just the right touch, showing us her rebellious streak.

WERE LOVE BLOOMS is the start of what promises to be another great series by J. Morgan. If you love your paranormal romances spiked with a heavy dose of humor, then J. Morgan is an author you simply must try. Highly recommended!
