The hospital emergency room isn’t where Celeste expected to meet a man! Dane Johns startles her as something about him seems familiar even though they’ve never met before. Celeste has a family secret, though, one she is fearful to share with Dane. She’s a white witch while Dane is a mortal. Will love stand a chance once her secret is revealed? THAT MAGIC MOMENT is a sweet tale where love and magic collide. Maureen L. Bonatch writes a quick but fun tale that captivates the reader with its lighthearted tone. Celeste’s grandmother is a total hoot with her seemingly irreverent but kind-hearted manner. The dilemma facing Dane and Celeste is an interesting one and I just wish it could have been fleshed out a bit more. I also wanted to know more about Martha May as she sounds like a splendid villain! Maureen L. Bonatch does a great job at maximizing her story with the pages she has but THAT MAGIC MOMENT is a story that practically begs to be continued! Yes, we see THAT MAGIC MOMENT in which love sparks between Celeste and Dane, but I wanted even more. Perhaps Maureen L. Bonatch did her job a bit too well as she only whetted my appetite for more!
