Kari Montgomery collides with Pastor Randy Steele on her way to her Cousin Emily’s wedding. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Your Wedding is a lovely contemporary inspirational romance with engaging characters. I liked that, in trying to help Kari reconnect with her relationship with God that Randy sees and then sets about to correct relationship problems in his own faith walk. We watch as both Kari and Randy turn to prayer and trust in their Heavenly Father for the healing changes they both know need to happen in their own hearts. Kari and Randy are young and energetic and this gentle romance partially set in a university environment will appeal to both young college age readers and older adults alike.
