What happens when an angel falls in love?

Joshua Williams died as a baby, never having a chance to grow up and experience life on Earth. Now, the powers that be have given this latest angel recruit a chance to enjoy all that he missed, accompanied by his handler, Walter. 

Cara Williams lives life to the fullest  No one can blame her for being skeptical of Joshua’s claims that he is an angel  But can she resist his allure?

Beverly Rae is one of my favorite authors. Her stories combining hot, steamy sex with unusual twists never cease to amaze me. Having said that, MY ANGEL is a little disappointing for this fan.

MY ANGEL is based on the assumption of an angel who died as a baby, suddenly thrust in the body of an adult male. The plot works to some degree, but Joshua’s ignorance of things began to wear on me a bit. I wanted to see more relationship building between Cara and Joshua. The scene with the skydiving is perhaps the best in the book as the tension between these two practically sizzles and it is very easy in that scene to see they are made for one another. Unfortunately, in other parts of the story, the attraction between them is somewhat superficial, almost as if Ms. Rae needed a bit longer length to fully flesh out this story. Regardless, Beverly Rae remains one of my favorite authors and I look forward to seeing what she has next in store for us.
