Lexie comes from a town where neighbors help each other and every small deed is rewarded. Striking out for the city she realizes nothing is like home, people are generally self-absorbed and everything is taken for granted. She takes solace in her job working with senior citizens; it breathes new life into otherwise dismal mood.

Everything changes when a scruffy stranger enters the scene, delivering Pearl, an elderly woman, to Lexie’s doorstep. She cannot help but notice how gentle this handsome man is that dotes on Pearl.  If Lexie’s not careful, she may learn a lesson or two from her new charge.

A sweet vignette with old fashioned charm, A MAN A MOM WOULD LOVE keeps romance readers alive with hope. Too often, even the simple things in life, such as manners, are lost in our society. So to see that it is not forgotten is a breath of fresh air. A ray of sunshine through an otherwise cloudy day, it is never too late to show appreciation through actions. You never know the impact it could have on those around you. Susan Lyons does a great job using minimal words to get her point across with A MAN A MOM WOULD LOVE and she does it with style.
